← Back to Dashboard
📅 13 October 1975 📍 New Zealand

Thousands joined the arrival of the land march at Parliament in Wellington. Whina Cooper presented the movement's demands after the journey from Te Hāpua. The demonstration made continuing land alienation a national political issue. It showed how sustained community mobilization could challenge state institutions while carrying Māori histories and priorities into public debate.
