Muslim organizers and supporters formed a human ring around Oslo’s synagogue in solidarity with Jews following antisemitic attacks in Europe. Participants opposed both antisemitism and Islamophobia. Their action made intercommunity protection visible and challenged narratives presenting Muslim and Jewish communities as inevitably hostile. The solidarity was initiated by people acting publicly, rather than by assigning collective responsibility to all Muslims.
