📅 8 April 2014 📍 Canada

After Quebec’s election, the National Council of Canadian Muslims called on the incoming government to rebuild relationships damaged by the values-charter debate. It urged an inclusive approach to Quebec’s religious and cultural minorities. The intervention translated opposition to exclusionary policy into a demand for government accountability and social participation after the electoral contest.
