Young people from the Lyon suburb of Les Minguettes and antiracist allies began a march from Marseille. They protested racist killings, expulsions and unequal access to rights. The march challenged the exclusion of people shaped by postcolonial migration from full participation in French society. Organizing around their own voices turned neighbourhood struggles into a campaign across the country.
