Lebanon ratifies the protocol adopted by the Council of the Arab League on 11 September 1965, with several reservations that grant Lebanese authorities discretion in applying provisions that equate Palestinians' rights with those of Lebanese citizens (with regard to work and employment) or equate the rights of Palestinians who live in other Arab countries with nationals of those countries (with regard to entry to and residence in Lebanon).
