On 25 October 2026, Alaziz Atef’s exhibition Depletion was on view at Zawyeh Gallery in Ramallah. The Palestinian visual artist, born in Al-Arroub Refugee Camp and based in Ramallah, presents 78 works made during 2026 using gauze bandages, paper, and installation. The artist and gallery connect the work to bodily injury, pain, memory, displacement, and Gaza. The exhibition opened on 17 October and is scheduled to run through 1 December 2026. Today’s date records that the exhibition was open to visitors; the works were made during 2026, not necessarily on 25 October.
