Houthis claim attacks on Saudi oil pumping stations and Riyadh airport as fighting escalates

Reuters reported on 26 October 2026 that Yemen’s Houthi movement said it attacked Saudi Arabia’s East-West crude oil pumping stations and Riyadh airport. Reuters said Saudi Arabia had not immediately confirmed those claims. The Saudi-led coalition separately said it intercepted a missile toward Riyadh and destroyed launchers and missile-storage sites in Yemen; these are coalition statements reported by Reuters. The report describes renewed fighting and the effective breakdown of a UN-brokered truce. Distinguish each party’s claims from independently confirmed facts.
