The ANC launched its national election manifesto at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban during the party’s 107th anniversary celebration. The manifesto presented a programme on jobs, poverty, inequality and transformation. In his address, Ramaphosa also acknowledged that state capture, corruption, factionalism and patronage had weakened institutions and the ANC’s ability to lead transformation. The promises and admissions were the party’s own; voters would judge the record and proposals at the polls.
