The ANC published discussion documents ahead of its fourth National General Council, scheduled for October. The NGC was intended to review implementation of resolutions adopted at the 2012 National Conference and assess emerging challenges. The papers addressed issues including rural development, land reform, economic transformation, social policy and organisational renewal. They provided a formal route for branches to debate policy before the mid-term gathering.
