SANNC committee receives a revised constitution

A SANNC select committee chaired by R.W. Msimang received a revised constitution in Bloemfontein. The organisation was still consolidating its structures and debating how a national Congress should function. Constitution-making was part of a broader effort to coordinate regional bodies and establish an institution able to represent African political claims across the Union.
