Malcolm completed the final two written answers for Al-Muslimoon in a Manhattan hotel the night before his assassination. Most of the interview had been drafted after the firebombing of his home. The surviving exchange is a last record of his thinking about Black Americans, Islam, and international responsibility; claims within it are his own account and are read alongside other sources.
