← Back to Dashboard
Biography 📅 5 July 1964 📍 United States

At the second OAAU rally, Malcolm argued that the Black freedom struggle had to be taken to international forums and connected local organizing with African and Asian solidarity. His speech also addressed press portrayals of the new organization and self-defense. This was a public political education meeting, not simply a speech by an individual celebrity.
