Iran seeks experts for a reported attack near Marivan

Velayati argued that UN inaction encouraged attacks on cities, shipping and chemical victims, warning that Iran would pursue retaliatory measures in self-defence if effective prevention failed.

The secretary-general decided to send a medical specialist to Iran after its chemical-weapons complaints, setting the terms for the March clinical investigation.
