The European Network Against Racism released Forgotten Women and held a symposium on the impact of Islamophobia on Muslim women. Research across eight European countries examined discrimination at the intersection of religion, gender and ethnicity. It foregrounded women’s testimony and employment barriers, challenging claims that exclusionary policies necessarily liberate them. The research was an advocacy report, not a judicial finding concerning every employer.
