The Environics Institute released findings from its survey of Muslims in Canada. The research examined belonging, religious identity and experiences of discrimination, giving public visibility to respondents’ own perspectives. It supplied evidence for debates often dominated by assumptions about Muslim disloyalty or separateness. Survey findings describe reported experiences and opinions, not a single position shared by every Muslim Canadian.
