The National Windrush Monument was unveiled at London Waterloo station in the presence of members of the Windrush generation. Designed by Jamaican sculptor Basil Watson, it recognized Caribbean contributions to Britain. Public honour addressed national memory, while the rights and redress claims arising from the Windrush scandal remained distinct questions.
