Traditional medicine library gathers international material

Testing and timely treatment during pregnancy supported Brazil’s validation.

The global digital library was officially launched in New Delhi during the second WHO traditional medicine summit.

PAHO’s Brazil-based BIREME developed the library in coordination with the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre.

The 19 December global release followed an October pre-launch by BIREME at a congress in Rio de Janeiro.
