WHO traditional medicine centre breaks ground

The March announcement described an upcoming centre; its onsite launch was scheduled separately for April.

A simpler HPV schedule could help programmes reach more girls where supplies and visits are limited.

The announcement followed a 4–7 April scientific advisory meeting.

The centre aimed to support research and knowledge exchange on traditional medicine.

WHO cited Ayurveda and other systems while calling for evidence-based study.

The groundbreaking was a commitment to study and policy development, not approval of every remedy.
