ANC opens its second National General Council

The ANC’s second National General Council met at the University of Pretoria in Tshwane from 29 June to 3 July. Branch and provincial delegates reviewed organisational and political questions midway between the 2002 and 2007 national conferences. Its discussions included organisational design, the national question and development under continuing structural inequality.
