Having been officially informed of the union between Jordan and the Arab portion of Palestine under Jordanian control (as bounded by the line defined in the Jordan-Israel Armistice Agreement ), that was proclaimed 3 days before by the National Assembly, Great Britain decides to accord formal recognition to this union and states that the provisions of the Anglo-Jordan Treaty of Alliance of 15 March 1948 is applicable to all the territory included in the union.
