Resolution 194 creates a United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine (UNCCP) consisting of three members (France, Turkey, and the US will be eventually selected) to take over the tasks of slain UN mediator Count Folke Bernadotte and to assist the governments and authorities concerned to achieve a final settlement of all questions outstanding between them.
